As the dust settles on the massive 25K Freeroll the team at Phenom would like to give you an update on the current state of the platform as well as some insight into what exciting updates we have coming!

Performance and Stability

The team has been focused on improving platform stability and enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Because our technology runs entirely on the blockchain, we face unique challenges compared to traditional poker sites. Our goal is to eliminate issues such as players being unable to join tables or funds becoming stuck, and to deliver a smooth, reliable experience on par with leading non-blockchain platforms.

Tournament Launch

Tournaments are now live in the lobby, and we’ve been working behind the scenes to address several early challenges. Our focus is on ensuring tournaments are stable and reliable before scaling availability aggressively.

And yes — we’ve heard the calls for guarantees! We want them too. We’re finalizing re-entries and implementing a series of stability improvements that will enhance gameplay across the board. These updates will give us the confidence to introduce guaranteed prize pools in the near future.

What's next for tournaments?

Once guarantees and a regular recurring schedule are established, the team will shift focus to implementing satellites and a tournament dollar system. This will enable us to support all essential tournament features, paving the way for events like our first Phenom Series. Stay tuned for updates as we approach the launch!

Mixed game tournaments are also on the horizon. As the home of mixed games at Phenom, expect popular single-discipline formats alongside exciting mixes of your favorite variants.

Key Tokenomics Data and Dashboard

The PHNM token and our community-owned model are central to Phenom’s growth strategy. It’s essential that we communicate this clearly to our player base and increase awareness of what makes our platform unique.

To achieve this, we will surface key tokenomics information in two places (see accompanying screenshots):

1. Key performance insights directly within the Game Lobby - for quick, at-a-glance updates.

2. An enhanced dashboard on our Phenom Website - providing users with detailed, granular token data and statistics for deeper analysis.

Multi-Tier Leaderboards

The Grind Prix Leaderboard will be divided into three tiers: micro, medium, and high stakes. This structure allows players at all stake levels to compete fairly and stay engaged in the weekly Grind Prix race!

Double Board Bomb Pots and Run It Twice/Three Times

We are expanding our game offerings to support more complex variants, including Double Board Bomb Pots. With this new design, we will also enable players to run it twice or even three times, adding more excitement and strategy to the gameplay.

Clubs

You may have noticed that the “Private Game” menu item has been renamed to “Clubs.” We’ve expanded this feature significantly and are now building it out to be more comprehensive.

Players will be able to create their own Private Clubs — and better yet, earn a percentage of their Club’s revenue!

Private Club owners can also host Cash Games and Tournaments exclusively for their Club members.

We expect to develop and roll out this feature in the coming months.

We’re excited to see an upward trend in the PHNM token price — and this is just the beginning. We continue to invest heavily in development and player acquisition to enhance the overall gameplay experience. With these efforts, we expect sustained growth across all game types and anticipate the token price will continue to rise.
