Phenom Poker is rolling out a fresh round of updates, improvements, and fixes designed to make your playing experience smoother and more enjoyable. Here’s what’s new.

The Waitlist Returns

Our waitlist system has been completely rebuilt. When your turn comes to take a seat, you’ll be offered the seat immediately and prompted to buy in. If you’re not viewing the table at the time, the platform will attempt to open it automatically. If pop-ups are blocked, you’ll see a Waitlist modal appear in the Lobby or at another open table, allowing you to claim your seat there.

If you decide not to buy in, your seat is forfeited and you’ll be removed from the Waitlist. To ensure the best experience, we recommend turning off pop-up blocking.

New Table Backgrounds and Card Backs

A full visual refresh is live on Phenom Poker. Players now have access to:

• Completely new table backgrounds, from fiery lava fields to peaceful cherry blossoms.

• A range of new card back designs, offering a rainbow of customization options.

• A redesigned default purple card back, aligned with the new design set.

• A fix to the default table glow, ensuring it properly matches the felt color you’ve selected.

Fixes and Platform Improvements

Alongside the new features, we’ve introduced a set of performance and stability upgrades:

• Table state recovery added—if a crash occurs, tables now restore to their previous state in about 10 seconds.

• Fixed duplicate chat messages.

• Tournament initialization for MTTs and SNGs now includes retries, preventing freezes.

• SNGs now recreate automatically as intended.

• General performance enhancements across the platform.

• Timebank bug fixed—no more freezes at one second.

• Tournament unregistration is now blocked while players are being seated.

• Draw games now correctly return all discarded cards.

• Leaderboard scores now display with commas for improved readability.
