13K USDT In. 1.75 Million USDT Out. Isildur1 Returns to the Nosebleeds

Apr 19, 2026
If you were anywhere near the high-stakes poker world between 2009 and 2011, you know the name. Viktor Blom, playing as "Isildur1," appeared out of nowhere and proceeded to run over the best players on the planet. He won $5 million. Lost $4 million. Won it back. Lost it again. All in the same month. He was 18 years old.
Nobody played like him. Complete fearlessness, an ability to put opponents to decisions for their entire stack on any street, and an appetite for variance that made even hardened high-stakes pros uncomfortable. He didn't just beat the games. He transformed them. Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Brian Hastings, Patrik Antonius. He took shots at all of them, and more often than not, he walked away with the money.
Poker has produced legends. It has never produced another Isildur1.
On April 8, Phenom Poker Ambassador Viktor Blom made a deposit on Phenom Poker. It was 13,626 USDT. Ten days later, his stack had grown to over 1.75 million USDT. Not a tournament. Not a lucky flip. A ten-day cash game masterclass across our highest-stakes mixed game and PLO tables, battling some of the best players in the world: Alexander Kostritsyn, Johannes Becker, Volker Stuermer, Christopher Kruk. He came out the other side with one of the most remarkable short-term cash game runs ever recorded online.

The 5 Biggest Pots
Five of the biggest single pots Viktor has played on Phenom, wins and losses both.
#1 - 83,437 USDT - Lost
200/400 PLO5
Blom four-bet to 10,800 USDT with double-suited T-T-K-K and Tabagari called. Both players checked the J♥️-5♦️-2♦️ flop. The 2♥️ on the turn gave Blom trip deuces beneath his overpairs; he led for 14,251 USDT, Tabagari raised to 64,347 USDT, and Blom moved all-in. Tabagari held 4♦️-A♥️-7♥️-T♦️-8♠️, a hand with four diamonds and a backdoor flush draw but nothing in terms of made value. He needed two running diamonds. The 9♦️ arrived on the river and completed the flush. Blom's trips were no good.

#2 - 82,565 USDT - Lost
200/400 PLO5
Out of a four-bet pot to 10,800 USDT, the 7♠️-7♣️-3♣️ flop arrived and Blom held 7♦️-3♦️, making sevens full of threes. He checked, let Tabagari bet 7,125 USDT, and check-raised to 21,500 USDT. On the 5♠️ turn, Blom shoved for 50,271 USDT. The problem: Tabagari held 7♥️-5♣️ alongside pocket aces, and the 5♠️ had quietly upgraded his trip sevens to sevens full of fives, the superior full house. Blom was drawing dead. The 2♦️ river was a formality.

#3 - 75,091 USDT - Won
200/400 PLO5
Tabagari three-bet preflop and called on the flop, turn, and river as Blom barrelled through an 8♦️-4♦️-6♠️-2♥️ board. On the 3♣️ river, Blom loaded up a 50,063 USDT bet. Tabagari called, tabling 3♦️-5♥️ for a six-high straight (2-3-4-5-6). He had rivered a straight and called with confidence. So had Blom: his 5♠️-7♣️ had made an eight-high straight (4-5-6-7-8), one rung higher. Both players rivered straights. Tabagari called 50,063 USDT into the losing end of it.

#4 - 61,786 USDT - Lost
200/400 PLO5
Tabagari raised and Blom three-bet to 3,600 USDT. Blom bet 4,747 USDT on the A♦️-8♣️-9♦️ flop and led again for 16,687 USDT on the 4♠️ turn. Tabagari raised all-in to 53,445 USDT and Blom called off his remaining 36,757 USDT. Tabagari showed 6♠️-2♥️-9♣️-8♠️-A♣️: the A♣️ and 9♣️ in his hand had flopped top two pair on the A-9 board, and the 4♦️ river changed nothing meaningful. Blom showed two pair, sevens and fours. The 123,578 USDT pot went to Tabagari.

#5 - 56,568 USDT - Won
200/400 PLO5
The K♠️-J♠️-6♥️ flop connected with Blom's K♦️-6♦️-T♣️-6♣️-8♠️ in multiple ways: a pair of kings alongside a set of sixes, using both pocket sixes with the 6♥️ on board. Tabagari held K♣️ with top pair and a strong wrap draw combining his Q♦️-T♥️-8♦️-9♥️. He called bets on the flop and turn, but the 4♣️-3♠️ runout did not complete his draws. Blom's set of sixes took down the 56,568 USDT pot.
